INTRODUCTION TO NATURAL DYES WORKSHOP

Step into an inviting exploration of the colours held within plants, food scraps, and other natural materials as you learn the essentials of natural dyeing with curiosity and mindful attention.

Together, we’ll prepare fabric, create dye baths, and experiment with a palette of seasonal colours, noticing how each material shifts and reacts in its own magical way.

Throughout the process, you’ll be encouraged to observe the subtle changes in tone, texture, and scent—those small, meaningful details that make working with natural colour so rewarding. By the end of the workshop, you’ll complete a hand-dyed mat or cloth, shaped by your discoveries and the unique palette that emerges from your experiments.
